During the last week, a lot has happened in my life and it seems God is taking me in a different direction and on a new journey…. I’m changing varsities and it seems like I’ll be a part time student soon enough and working. But I have no idea where I’m going.
In this week of chaos, Freddie and Ashley stopped by to surprise Jean, so we got some time to catch up! Totally amazing and always a blessing to see them. Really did pick up my week.
Jean has flown to Cape Town to visit Cornu. I haven’t been to Cape Town but it feels it might be the direction I’m heading towards… So Jean has been sending me beautiful pics of Cape Town. While he’s away, I’m chilling out and getting ready for our Balito trip next week with Cornu and Eline. Unfortunately Freddie and Ashley won’t be joining us, but we’ll hopefully see them for my birthday at the end of August and will definitely see them in October for a weekend when we celebrate Freddie’s birthday.
New adventures are on the horizon, new places, new friends… It really is an exciting time 🙂

Road tripping back to Pretoria at like 3am with my sister Chantelle and my other ‘little’ sister Bianca, whom we grew up with. Back to varsity we go, sad to leave but I guess it’s better to leave now and know we’ll be back soon.
So stoked, was such a relaxing holiday, definitely was needed. I feel refreshed, my skin and everything feels better and happy and my soul feels soothed beyond compare.
This road trip has started early but we’re already talking, listening to good music and the laughs and giggles are mad with some good snacks! This is gonna be fun! So blessed by this little trip to the coast and now the 6-7hours driving back.
Received more good news this morning! From my amazing friend, Emma, who lives in Mozambique. She is super keen to have me in June/July, so basically – I’M GOING TO MOZAMBIQUE!!! Yay!
The adventure awaits! And truly #mysoulishappy
Thanks Em xx
Just sitting and thinking, after having a short 5 minute chat to one of my best friends back home, Bubsy(Jaqui), and I was just reminded how much I miss her and the coast. There’s a few people I can’t wait to see again! So I really can’t wait for these exams to be over and to be home bound….
Here’s a little something my sister posted somewhere which is so darn true!
“At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moments. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun!”
So pretty and poetic but true. The pace is totally different from living in the big city. Can’t wait for this holiday to just chill & spend quality time with very special people!
